The full Spanish properties catalogue starts here → Last news May 3rd, 2008 Is the price of this property in Spain negotiable ? I am frequently asked, whether a property owner would be ready to lower his price. My answer always is the same: “we never address this issue before a customer has visited the property and declared that he likes it”. I pledge your indulgence: we defend your interest, dear customer, and also those of the owner-seller who entrusted us the sale of his property. What would you say if, in the next ten or twenty years, we would sell off on the pavement the property you are buying today ? On another hand, the INSERT correspondents are in constant contact with the property owners-sellers and invite them to adjust their prices to the market possibilities whenever they feel it needed. It is a part of their job, and those of our readers regularly following the INSERT pages can notice it. For this reason, the prices seldom are negotiable, and in such a case only within a narrow field. It however may happen, that some owners feel in hurry to sell, not necessarily because he needs money: sickness, age, children's desinterest… It may be heart-breaking to consider the sale of a property where someone has spent so beautiful days, in Spain. Once this difficult decision has been made, he would like to see things go quick. Here are some of those Spanish properties which we have for sale:
In these cases, I cannot exclude (neither promise) that a small price adaptation will be accepted by the seller, but it has to stay within reasonable limits: an offer 20% below the catalogue price simply will not be transmitted. And once again, we cannot consider an offer, neither comment the question, before a customer has visited the property and declared that he likes it. I wish you a lot of pleasure while visiting this Spanish properties catalogue, and I thank you for your comprehension for the mistakes you will find in my „Swiss Federal English”… Jacques Gaillard.
